Mediation

Is a form of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), aims to assist two (or more) people to reach an agreement. Whether an agreement results or not, and whatever the content of that agreement, if any, the parties themselves determine rather than accepting something imposed by a Court.   I am an Associate Member of LEADR which is an Australasian, not-for-profit membership organisation promoting alternative dispute resolution including mediation. LEADR has members in Australia, New Zealand and throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Confidentiality

Anything said at a mediation is strictly confidential and, other than in exceptional circumstances, may not be used in Court.

Facilities

Mediations take place at my Chambers at Suite 124, 267 Castlereagh Street Sydney.  There are 4 comfortable rooms available, 3 of which have natural light and access to a balcony.

Fees

Please contact my Clerk, Loraine Byrnes to enquire about my fees:

clerk@ebc44.com

Tel: 9220-6100

Unless the parties agree otherwise the parties will share equally all the fees and costs of the mediation.
